Thanks to John the postmaster at Thorpe Hesley Post Office who has agreed to hold a raffle to help Oscar.
You could win a presentation basket containing a bottle red wine, a bottle of Rose and a box of chocolates.
Why not pop in and have a go.
Oscar is a very bright 6 year old, when he was born there were complications which starved him of oxygen. This affected his brain and has left him with cerebral palsy, he has the rarest type. There is a clinic in London called the Bobath Centre (www.bobath.org.uk) which specialises in treating children like Oscar. Please help us to raise funds for Oscar to get the therapy to allow him to grow and develop to have a full and happy life.

Welcome
Welcome to therapy for Oscar.
We are trying to raise money to help our 2 year old son Oscar have extra physio and speech therapy at the Bobath centre in London (www.bobath.org.uk).
Oscar has cerebral palsy caused by a lack of oxygen shortly after birth. This has affected his brain leaving him with the athetoid type of CP. This means he has trouble controlling his muscles and movements. At the moment he is unable to sit unsupported or walk or talk.
Oscar has visited Bobath and the therapists there were very pleased with him and he exceeded all the goals they set for him. This visit was funded by the NHS but due to cuts in government spending it's unlikely they will do so again.
So please help us to raise money to provide Oscar with this therapy to allow him to achieve his full potential and live a full and happy life.
We will be posting details of upcoming fundraising events so keep checking back.
We also hope to have a facebook page set up soon too.
