We have just returned from another successful visit to the Bobath Centre in London where Oscar attended an intensive 2 week program of physiotherapy.
Oscar did really well and we would like to thank Helen, Athena and Marion and all the staff at Bobath who do a wonderful job to help children with cerebral palsy.
Even Oscar's physio, OT and his assisted technology worker from our local NHS services all came to London to work out a co-ordinated program to help Oscar to progress and improve.
Oscar is a very bright 6 year old, when he was born there were complications which starved him of oxygen. This affected his brain and has left him with cerebral palsy, he has the rarest type. There is a clinic in London called the Bobath Centre (www.bobath.org.uk) which specialises in treating children like Oscar. Please help us to raise funds for Oscar to get the therapy to allow him to grow and develop to have a full and happy life.
